Son pequeñas estructuras tejidas con fibras de junco realizadas en Cerdeña (Italia). Los tejidos forman triángulos atados a aros que van dando la forma cónica de estas trampas para peces. Se utiliza otra fibra para ir atando el junco y estabilizar los nudos.

Juncus Acutus se puede encontrar en las costas de la isla y en cualquier zona con alto contenido de humedad. El proceso para trabajarla requería el secado de la fibra al exterior bajo el sol.
Con hilos de cáñamo y de lino se unian tradionalmente hasta la actualidad que se reemplazaron por nylon.
Los aros que estructuran los tejidos se realizaban con diferentes materiales como caña o mirto.

La caña debía hidratarse para poder curvarla, además se utilizaba una especie de aguja para coser los nudos atados. Los tejidos llevan una parte interior que deja la terminación abiertaimpidiendo el retorno de los peces al agua y varían sus tamaños dependiendo de lo que se pescara. Por último se teje la tapa, que de forma independiente se ata a la estructura.
